Frequently Asked Questions
Is Citi Cash Back+ cash back really unlimited?
Yes β the 1.6% cash back has no cap and no minimum spend. Only the conditional 0.4% Citi Plus bonus is capped (at S$2,000 of eligible spend per month).
How does Citi Cash Back+ compare to Citi SMRT Card?
Cash Back+ earns a flat 1.6% on everything with zero friction. SMRT Card earns up to 5% on transit, groceries and drug stores after S$500/month minimum spend, but only 0.3% below threshold and rewards come as SMRT$. Heavy category spenders earn more with SMRT; everyone else earns more with Cash Back+.
When is cash back credited?
