Check MCC (operated by A2ZSoft / AZ SOFT PTE. LTD.) provides a merchant category code lookup tool, credit card eligibility checker, and related calculators. The service is provided free of charge for informational purposes.

2. Data Accuracy Limitations

MCC data is inherently variable:

• The same merchant may code differently depending on payment channel, geography, acquiring bank, and card network
• Banks periodically update their card T&Cs, earn rates, caps, and exclusion lists
• Community-reported MCCs may be unverified — treat "Reported" data as an observation, not a fact
• We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that every MCC observation is current or applicable to your specific transaction

3. No Financial Advice

The content on this site is not financial advice. "Best Card" recommendations reflect the highest eligible earn rate based on our computed rules — they do not account for your personal financial situation, existing card portfolio, annual fees, or spending patterns. Consult a qualified financial advisor before making credit card decisions.

4. User Responsibilities

• Verify MCC and card eligibility data with your bank before relying on it for a significant purchase
• Do not use automated tools to scrape our data at scale without permission (see our API documentation for structured access)
• When submitting data (bank statements, corrections), redact sensitive information like full card numbers
• Do not submit false or misleading data

5. Intellectual Property

The Check MCC website, tools, card eligibility engine, and original content are the property of A2ZSoft. MCC codes themselves are standardised industry codes and are not proprietary. Individual bank T&Cs are the property of their respective issuers and are cited, not reproduced.

6. Affiliate Disclosure

Some credit card links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning we earn a commission if you apply through them. This does not affect card eligibility results, which are computed from official T&Cs regardless of affiliate status. See our editorial policy for our conflict-of-interest standards.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A2ZSoft is not liable for any losses arising from the use of this site, including but not limited to: missed credit card rewards, incorrect MCC predictions, or decisions made based on data presented here.
